SCHOOL OF CREATIVE ARTS
The School of Creative Arts (SCA), comprised of three well-established academic units: the Academy of Film, the Academy of Music, and the Academy of Visual Arts. Established on July 1, 2022, SCA is dedicated to nurturing future-ready talents for Hong Kong and beyond, while making a significant impact on society through innovative research and transdisciplinary studies.
The School is now seeking a high-calibre, dedicated, mature and self-motivated individual to join the Dean’s Office.
Executive Officer (23241092)
Responsibilities:
• Manage research and scholarly activities, including RAE coordination, grants/output management, knowledge transfer, and compilation of reports/proposals;
• Oversee and manage postgraduate programs, including the administration of student scholarships/ awards, student affairs, and quality assurance;
• Support internationalisation and career-related matters;
• Provide support in alumni relations and fundraising initiatives;
• Coordinate and organise the School’s events, projects and functions;
• Provide committee services; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• A good honours degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in higher education institutions;
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities;
• Highly organised with a strong sense of responsibility and maturity;
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team;
• Capable of multitasking under tight deadlines; and
• Good computer skills with sound knowledge of MS Office.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
