The LPS Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for carrying out technical support and operational duties for the Marine Services Unit. This role will involve leading a working team or working independently on preventive and corrective maintenance of VTS and MRCC systems, as well as repairing electronic equipment and printed circuit boards. The specialist will implement projects for system upgrades and enhancements while assisting in resource management, equipment inventory, and maintaining relevant operational records.

Compensation and Benefits
Working hours: 42.5 hours per week, with 24 x 7 shift duty on a 5-day work schedule, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team or work independently in maintenance and repair tasks
• Implement projects for system upgrades and enhancements
• Manage resources, including equipment inventory and petty cash custody
• Update drawings, manuals, and relevant records for operation and maintenance
• Perform other duties as required, including working at height when necessary
Qualifications
• Advanced Diploma or Higher Certificate in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in operating and maintenance of related systems
• Candidates with less experience may be considered
Education Requirements
• Advanced Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electronic Engineering / Computer Science or relevant discipline
