Senior Data Science Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Science Leader to join our Agency Distribution team at AIA International Limited. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and mentor a team of data scientists and data engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Develop and implement advanced machine learning models to improve agent performance and optimize distribution strategies.
• Use advanced analytics techniques to generate insights and optimize decision-making processes.
• Develop and establish dashboards and reports to monitor critical metrics.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and IT, to align data initiatives with business goals.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data collected from various sources.
• Develop and improve algorithms for agent segmentation and targeting.
• Deliver actionable insights to optimize agent recruitment, retention, and efficiency.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in data analysis, specifically in machine learning and predictive modeling. Leadership experience is also preferred, especially in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
• Expertise in both conceptualizing and building AI/ML models.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Proven experience in leading and developing high-performance teams.
