About The Role
This role is responsible for contributing to the achievement of the overall sales and marketing goals through the development, implementation and management of digital marketing programs, tactical promotions and other initiatives to drive traffic and conversion by utilizing electronic marketing and direct electronic channels to grow profitable sales revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing Development and Projects
• Develops and executes Digital Marketing Strategies and Action Plans to maximize online initiatives and to increase online revenue (Brand-owned and Affiliated Digital Channels)
• Owns and manages Performance Marketing Strategies and Tactics, including but not limited to SEO and SEM, paid-media digital initiatives and ensure maximum ROI is achieved
• Identifies and develops new Digital Marketing Channels, Applications and Features to monetize these to drive incremental direct business to hotel-owned facilities (incl. but not limited to Brand.com / WeChat and other 3rd party WHM establishments)
• Champions and manages new digital projects to reinforce Brand and Marketing goals
• Researches and identifies new potential regional digital partnerships / affiliate marketing to continually enhance the value proposition to our stakeholders.
• Tracks key performance indicators and regularly communicates with stakeholders on progress toward established goals
• Participates in the budget planning, content development and execution of online marketing campaigns and related success measurements
• Partners with Group IT to map out the Digital Transformation Roadmap and Blueprint for Wharf Hotels Corporate Office
• Represents Wharf Hotels in discussions and work streams to improve relevance in online channels
Digital Marketing Campaigns, Communications and Operations
• Develops and manages all Digital Marketing Campaigns, including but not limited to Corporate-led Campaigns, Hotel-oriented Campaigns and 3rd party Affiliate Marketing
• Manages and administers day-to-day operations for all digital channels, customer touch points and communications (both internal and external).
• Manages the development workflow for e-platforms and digital assets (landing pages, e-newsletters, interactive tools and banner ads) that support the overall global objective to increase online revenue contribution.
• Supports and collaborates with various departmental disciplines in Brand Marketing, CRM and Loyalty Programme Management to ensure alignment on business strategies that utilize Digital Marketing Channels for promotional and transactional purposes is achieved.
External Agency Management & Digital Operations and Support Functions
• Builds and maintains effective relationships with stakeholders, hotels, corporate and regional offices, IT partners, external agencies and vendors.
• Serves as the voice and ambassador for Wharf Hotels Digital Marketing needs
• Manages and coordinates meetings, agendas, activities, action items and follow- up.
Qualifications
Education: University degree or equivalent in Business, Digital Commerce, Marketing or related discipline from a recognized institution
Experience:
• 10 years+ experience in marketing with emphasis in integrated marketing, e-commerce and digital platforms, with at least 3-5 years’ experience as a Digital Functional / Department Head
• Solid Digital Marketing and eCommerce experience gained from Hospitality / Luxury Retail / Banking is mandatory
• Concrete project management experience in developing digital and ecommerce systems / platforms, digital customer engagement / customer journey funneling / O2O lifecycle marketing / marketing automation is required
• Highly experienced with Web publishing processes and applications, e.g. CMS, DAM, CRM, etc. and Performance Marketing (SEO / SEM / paid media management) for both PRC and Rest of the World markets
• Past experience in Digital Innovation, Transformation Projects is preferred
• Familiarity with online tracking software
• Subject matter expert in PRC digital landscape, mega-mobile apps and ecosystems, social and e-commerce platforms

• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
