About the Role
As the Digital Transformation Project Manager to drive the modernization of applications and organisation in variety of domains. You should be strong enough in understanding the business drivers and requirements of the project initiatives. You need to build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders, develop project management artifacts and roadmaps, and manage the delivery of deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Digital Transformation
• Lead change management to adopt digital transformation.
• Drive transformation of Operations in adopting agile ways of working and taking advantage of disruptive operational model to establish new capabilities that foster and catalyze future growth.
• Co-create with functional leaders to reimagine, redesign processes, and identify opportunities for automation and straight-through processing to achieve improved efficiency and enhance customer experience.
• Provide insights and recommend enhancement to functional team to drive value for operations; Generate innovative ideas and turn them into feasible on-the-ground solutions for operations and the company.
• Assist Head of Digital Transformation in the creation of digital transformation strategies and in the execution of the strategies across functions.
• Liaise with functional leaders to set and implement engagement strategy and communications protocol.
Project Management and Delivery
• Lead and oversee project team and provide insights in setting strategies for meeting KPIs in accordance with the directions for Operations.
• Liaise with business leadership to set strategic direction, plan, steer and deliver projects.
• Manage the day-to-day running of the project team and responsible for all aspects of assigned project management activities including planning, risk and issue management, governance and reporting and resource management.
• Set and implement consistent project governance framework across projects, including governance structure, reporting guidelines and principles etc.
• Work closely with TDA Project Manager and Workstreams to ensure effective management and governance of the projects according to established guidance and principles.
• Manage the project governance and cadence including meetings, reporting and deliverable sign off; Document and track the status of project deliverables and project governance documentation is managed and maintained.
• Support the planning, storyboarding and crafting of key messages and materials to ensure communications and updates are tailored as appropriate to the specific GO and Local level and audience.
• Provide direct project management support to specific initiatives on an as-needed basis, and for those initiatives, lead the end-to-end project planning, execution, risk and issue management, stakeholder management and governance reporting.
• May require travelling to offshore hosting centre to ensure delivery.
Requirements:
• University graduate with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, at least 4 years at managerial level in similar roles and functions within the insurance industry
• Holder of PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
• Solid project delivery experience; having successfully managed or led complex, multi-function/multi-stakeholder projects in a large corporate environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to identify innovation opportunities, define and deliver innovative solutions.
• Knowledge of current industry-wide approaches and best practice for project management and methodologies.
