Associate Strategist
Ogilvy Social, Hong Kong
Ogilvy Social is a global team of social experts from across all of Ogilvy's businesses. We design integrated social solutions that combine deep disciplines like CRM, public relations, and shopper marketing, rooted in what drives behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct online research and social media monitoring using various social media listening tools
• Develop social media strategies
• Execute campaigns in content, community management, influencer identification, influencer outreach, and offline activation
• Participate in creating social content, including social posts, animations, and advertorials
• Manage internal communications and projects, directing creative to apply client feedback to deliverables
• Produce monthly, half-yearly, and annual reporting of project status and results
• Analyze data and provide sound insights using various social media analytics tools
• Manage day-to-day client relationships
• Project management
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a strong academic record
• 1+ years of work experience in an advertising or PR agency, or related field; fresh graduates considered
• Native Cantonese and fluent English language, reading and writing
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
• Critical and creative thinking, with the ability to solve problems and develop new possibilities
• Organized project management skills, with the ability to execute on multiple projects simultaneously
• Good judgment and calmness in a fast-paced work environment
• Understanding of current and emerging media platforms and their usage from a consumer and business perspective
• Passion for social media and word-of-mouth marketing
• Strong knowledge of social platforms, especially Facebook and Instagram, with a focus on post formats
