ABOUT THE JOB
LOJEL is seeking a Supplier & Production Manager to oversee the production process and manage relationships with suppliers. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with exceptional communication and negotiation skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the production process, including sourcing, managing suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of finished products.
ABOUT THE ROLE
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain and improve production efficiency.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
• Source and select suppliers with internal teams and involve onboarding process.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
• Develop and maintain production schedules and ensure timely delivery of finished products.
• Active participation in product development project, join pre-production meetings to resolve potential issues and update teams for delivery schedule.
• Monitor production processes to ensure product plannings are met.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of raw materials for production.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as sales, quality and product, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Apply and support related sustainability initiatives.
YOUR CORE SKILLS
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with production management software and inventory management systems.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Awareness and ability to apply ESG related initiatives.
• Prior experience in sustainability related projects or in sustainable companies is an advantage.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, production management, or related field.
• Six sigma certificate, PMP preferred.
