Senior Project Manager (Civil or Architecture) - Commercial - Southern China

KITE Search are partnering with a leading listed property developer. As a brand they are known for producing some of the most impressive buildings in Hong Kong & China with an enviable track record. Due to recent successful land acquisition the group is going to further expand their project team for upcoming projects in Southen China.

Job Responsibilities:
• As an Senior Project Manager you will be overseeing development projects from conceptual design stage to completion, such as master planning, design, managing external consultants and contractors, monitoring of site works in accordance with the specifications and drawings, completion and delivery of the project.
• Consulting with the government authorities abd LDI's across project submissions, approvals, and inspections in a timely manner.
• Keep track of the latest regulations to ensure statutory compliance for all government submissions of the projects.
• Manage the site progress and performance of consultants, contractors and vendors to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with quality requirements, within the established timelines, meeting key milestones and within budget.
• Have a good working realtionship with all sections of the Project Department resolving design and engineering issues that may affect the master plan or the progress of work.

Requirements:
• Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering disciplines
• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• 12+ years of post-qualification project management experience
• Conversant with local authorities permits submission/application process
• Demonstrated experience in managing cross-discipline teams.
• Professional qualification with HKIA / HKIS / HKIE / IMechE or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in full cycle project delivery of large-scale residential development projects
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build a team and lead from the front
