HSBC is seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Strategist to drive the alignment of our technology roadmap and strategy with our business imperatives. As a key member of our Digital Business Services team, you will facilitate the development of technology strategies, translate them into actions, and monitor performance to ensure effective execution.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the Head of Strategic Delivery to drive the alignment of the GO&A Technology roadmap and strategy with the HSBC Technology strategic roadmap and Global Operations and HSBC business imperatives
• Facilitate the development of GOA technology strategies, translate these into actions, and a cohesive roadmap, monitor performance, and report on the effective execution of these strategies as well as to drive the transformational agenda of the organisation
• Support the Strategy and Transformation Lead to drive investment strategy across innovation and transformation initiatives
• Business relationship management and represent GO&A in business discussions to ensure GO&A technology strategic roadmap enables the delivery of business value and transformation
• Ensure that the GO&A long term strategy, vision and mission plans are understood within the team and by key stakeholders
• Support the planning and prioritisation of GO&A budget and benefit realisation to ensure alignment with strategic initiatives/objectives that deliver value to the business
• Own the implementation of GO&A Value Stream Enablers mobilisation, responsible for standardisation of design and rollout of a new Operating Model and ways of working across our Enabler teams
• Ensure alignment of the Technology roadmap and strategy with the agreed Outcome OKRs organisation design, location strategy, process optimisation and technology governance
• Accountable for end-to-end outcome delivery, managing creation and deployment of technology solutions for customers
• Tracks and communicates feasibility of delivery within Outcome Streams, supporting investment cases, hypothesis testing, and analysing demand from Outcome Streams
• Assesses feasibility of existing solutions' replication and generate appropriate solution proposal, assess feasibility of delivery for proposed solutions and the readiness to build them to support prioritisation of backlog

Requirements
• Deep understanding of the mechanics of a strategic transformation office
• Understanding of tollgates, how to manage governance
• Experience and ability to align strategic planning to business needs and requirements and drive their delivery
• A strong leader who can set the strategic vision and drive its delivery
• Ability to adopt Consultancy and Business Analysis frameworks in strategy definition and operating model definition areas
• Ability to adopt transformation methodology for transformation oversight and transformation delivery
• Ability to conduct and drive strategic planning for both short term and long term
• Strong written communications skills with the ability to generate communication for executive level audience
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation to drive delivery at CxO minus one level
• Strategic thinking for navigation through complex challenges

Functional Knowledge
• Expert understanding of products, services, and underlying processes for Value Stream
• Experience of DevOps/DevSecOps or SCALE Agile processes
• Ability to champion the customer in strategic and tactical decision-making scenarios
• Ability to apply risk assessment and management principles and processes and find ways of solving or pre-empting issues
• Detailed understanding of multiple business areas and relevant technology domains
• Ability to understand and deliver towards customer needs in large, global, complex organisations

• Build and maintain the broad and diverse set of skills required to run and effective operational team
• Exceptional ability to lead diverse cross-functional teams, with strong people leadership, teamwork, gathering information and analysing, judgment, decision making and communication
