Market Data Operations Manager

Job Title: Assistant Vice President

Job Summary:
The Market Data Team at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the operation teams in managing and supporting core operations of market data platforms and data management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage client on-boarding activities to HKEX market data platforms, including real-time pricing feeds, issuer news feed, historical data platform, and other data dissemination channels.
• Plan and manage projects, including the introduction of new data products, improvement of operation stability, operation control, and efficiency, including defining requirements, executing user acceptance tests, and supporting rollouts.
• Support clients in managing changes, collecting client feedback, answering client inquiries, and working collaboratively with clients.
• Partner with in-house technology teams and external solution providers to ensure smooth project deliveries.
• Monitor system healthiness, review and manage business continuity plans, conduct risk assessments, and perform regular reviews of operation data.
• Conduct regular training on operation events.
• Work on weekends and/or Hong Kong public holidays may be required occasionally.
• Deliver other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:
• Degree or above, preferably in Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, or other related disciplines.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in well-established financial organizations on operation, with a good concept of operation control and efficiency, as well as incident handling.
• Preferred experience with market data, especially on real-time market data feed.
• Meticulous, attentive to details, and able to maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Conversant with technical details.
• Highly independent, self-motivated, and result-oriented professional.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage.
• Candidates with less experience would be considered as Associates.

Shift: Standard - 40 Hours (Hong Kong SAR)
