1. Banking Senior Data Engineer/ Data Engineer Manager
· University graduate in Computer Science, Information System, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines or equivalent;
·5+ years’ experience in system development covering the following: ·
· Solid hands-on experience in Data Management and Analytics. ·
· Proficient in Python, Spark, Airflow, ETL tools (e.g. DBT, Data Fusion, IBM DataStage, Informatica, etc.) appropriate for large scale data processing, SQL development, OR ·
· Experience in below will be desirable:
- Experience in Big data, Cloud technologies and DaaS is an advantage
- Good knowledge in RDBMS, NoSQL is a plus
- Knowledge of Java, Terraform is a plus
- Knowledge of maintenance of Data Visualization and Data Governance tools (e.g. Tableau, Collibra) is a plus
- Interface with Machine Learning System for Digital Marketing integration ·
· Strong leadership, embracing changes, fast learners with ability to work in a collaborative environment ·
· Effective communication is a must to work with Data Scientists and Business Users.
· Strong oral and written presentation in English and Chinese. Mandarin is a plus ·
· Experience in conducting Business and System Analysis with strong business acumen·
· Working knowledge in financial sector is an advantage ·
· Candidates with less qualification and experience will be considered as Data Engineer/Data Developer ·
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Data Engineer
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for design, development and maintenance of Data Management Solution for Analytics, including Data Lake, Data Warehouse and customized data pipelines
· Work out the conceptual model, data model and perform information gathering, and data aggregation as to support analytics and data science use cases
· Coordinate with different parties to complete analytics and data science use cases
· Evaluate and recommend the technical solutions, including software tools and technologies; design and develop architecture and application as to present the analysis result
Requirements:
· University Graduate in Computer Science or related disciplines
· At least 3-5 years’ working experience on Enterprise application development with supervisory exposure in software development
· Interest in data management, data analysis and analytics/business intelligence
· Familiar with SQL, Spark, Scala, Python, Spotfire
· Story telling experience in analytics/business intelligence area is an advantage.
· A good team player with sound analytical and problem solving skills, willing to take challenges
· Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
· Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
