Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Application Development Manager (Financial, Up to 70K) to join our team on-site in Kowloon. As the Senior Application Development Manager, you will plan and oversee all aspects of software development projects, manage a team of software developers, and ensure that deadlines and budgets are met. You will work closely with infrastructure team on architecture design, security, IT compliance, and deployment and support.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree preferred
• At least 10 years of experience in software development, including 5 years of experience in a leadership role
• Experience in financial software development and knowledge of financial industry regulations
• Expertise in software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum
• Proficiency in programming languages, such as C#.Net, Java, Python and PHP
• Strong project management and team leadership skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in MS SQL, MySQL and Oracle.
• Familiar with M365 tools like Teams and SharePoint Online etc
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and database technologies, such as SQL and NoSQL
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on results
