Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and managing our containerized environments using Alibaba Cloud Container Service (ACK) and other cloud-native tools.

Your role will focus on automating, scaling, and improving the reliability of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring smooth delivery of services in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and manage containerized infrastructure on Alibaba Cloud.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable deployments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Implement container orchestration and management solutions using Alibaba Kubernetes (ACK).
• Collaborate with development teams to define infrastructure requirements and operational needs.
• Monitor and ensure the high availability, performance, and scalability of cloud infrastructure.
• Design and implement robust backup, disaster recovery, and security solutions for cloud services.
• Perform continuous integration and system optimizations for cost-efficiency and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, conducting root cause analysis and deploying fixes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies in cloud computing, DevOps best practices, and Alibaba Cloud services.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles, with experience in Alibaba Cloud
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
• Proven track record of building, managing, and scaling containerized solutions using Alibaba Cloud Kubernetes (ACK).
• Solid experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
• Must have previous experience as a Software Developer (Java or Node.Js)
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with container security best practices and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills
• Certifications in Alibaba Cloud or related cloud platforms.
• Experience with microservices architectures and serverless computing.
• Experience in logging/monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Alibaba Cloud’s CloudMonitor.
