Job Description Summary: Manage enterprise infrastructure, oversee disaster recovery, ensure security and compliance, collaborate with vendors, and prepare RFQs or tenders for a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strategic plan for enterprise infrastructure, incorporating on-premise and cloud solutions, evaluating existing systems, identifying areas for improvement and outlining the technology roadmap.
• Oversee disaster recovery plan, ensuring data center resilience and the availability of disaster recovery sites, implementing redundant systems and replication strategies to minimize downtime and ensure data accessibility in the event of a disaster.
• Ensure security and compliance of the infrastructure by implementing and maintaining security measures, conducting regular audits, managing access controls, and addressing vulnerabilities or incidents.
• Collaborate closely with technology vendors and service providers to evaluate, select, and oversee hardware, software, and cloud services, negotiating contracts, monitoring service level agreements (SLAs), and ensuring vendor performance aligns with organizational requirements.
• Prepare and issue RFQs or tenders to potential vendors or solution providers, clearly defining requirements, evaluation criteria, and submission deadlines, effectively advertising RFQs or tenders to attract qualified vendors.
• Required Qualifications:
• Recognised university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of IT, with at least 8 years in a project manager and/or infrastructure lead role, preferably in a sizable organisation, at least 5 years of experience in leading Server Virtualization and storage system implementation.
• Technical certifications such as VMware Certified Advanced Professional, Azure Administrator Associate certification, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator would be advantageous.
• Ability to maintain large-scale server and storage platforms, including capacity planning for the organisation.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
