Risk Analyst

Guy Carpenter is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Hong Kong office:

Position : Risk Analyst

We will count on you to:
• Support in maintaining and developing client relationship for existing clients and new clients
• Regular communication with client at counterpart level to collect client feedback, identify client need and gather market intelligence
• Conduct market research and information collecting
• Compile presentations and advisory documents under direction of a superior
• Perform broking support work, including but not limited to data verification, slip drafting and placement process reporting etc
• Play an active role in GC client and market events to promote GC brand and enhance relationship with clients and markets as required

What you need to have:
• University degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Risk Management or related discipline
• 2- 4 years experience in insurance / reinsurance industry
• Proficient in English and Mandarin, both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Outgoing, proactive and presentable with excellent interpersonal skills
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong ability to work with colleagues effectively at all levels, must be a good team player
• Well-versed in office software (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
