Tech Lead of DGX Implementation - NVIDIA HPC AI and Data Ecosystems

Our client is establishing an AI and Data Research Facility that will be equipped with state-of-the-art high-performance computing facilities. The Facility, aptly named the High-Performance Computing Centre, will provide the R&D researchers with the necessary tools to enhance their research capabilities and foster an environment of Artificial Intelligence in the high-performance computing sector. To lead this cutting-edge effort, we are seeking a highly qualified talent.

Reporting to the Director of AI, who will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the AI and Data Research Facility and driving research and innovation through the support of high-performance computing.

The Tech Led of DGX Implementation responsibilities will include:
overseeing the sustainable development of the High-Performance Computing Centre.
collaborating with a steering committee composed of representative stakeholders to develop relevant governance structure and policies.
collaborating with technical development and operations of HPC AI and Data Research resources .
promoting HPC awareness and education among researchers.
engaging with other HPC or AI supercomputing centres , both regionally and internationally, to maximize impacts for researchers.
supporting the Innovative Tech R&D mission by overseeing the development and management of the AI and Data Research Facility.
providing secretariat support to meetings and committees as required; and
performing any ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.

Applicants should have:
A research-oriented postgraduate degree (e.g. PhD, MPhil) in relevant disciplines.
Over 10 years of solid working experience in a leading role in the field of high-performance computing support.
Experience of supporting High-Performance Computing (HPC) Platforms
Sound knowledge and experience in Data Analytics, Python, R, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning using HPC Platform
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with job management, cluster management and high-performance file systems
Practical experience in designing and building HPC systems.
Experience in setting up monitoring and optimization for HPC systems.
Familiar with the Linux Operating System, including setup and configuration in a large-scale computing clusters/HPC environment.
Familiar with the Nvidia DGX platform and cluster management software will be an advantage.
Experience with setting up and performance tuning on both open-source and licensed HPC applications.
Strong experience in supporting various Research and Development Projects in large enterprises or universities.
