Market Data Analyst

Responsibilities:
• Design market data products for international clients who are interested in mainland China financial market by leveraging sources from different parties;
• Responsible for working closely with different teams to turn business requirements and business strategies into deliverables;
• Build and manage the product roadmap for product, based on tracking industry trends. market needs, competitive analysis, and target client research;
• Solicit client feedback on product and services to identify areas of product improvement;
• Perform data mapping to identify data gaps and work with different parties to source the additional information required;
• Involved in day-to-day administrative tasks around product design and project development;
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements:
• Degree holder or above, major in finance, accounting or other related discipline, CFA or CPA holder is a plus;
• 3+ years of experience in financial markets business, information vendor or fintech; Candidate with less experience can be considered as Junior Analyst;
• Knowledge of corporate finance / accountancy i.e., financial statements and annual reports;
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
• Detail-oriented, able to complete repetitive tasks with high efficiency;
• Fluent in Mandarin, English and Cantonese, strong writing skills in both Chinese and English;
• Proficient in MS-office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), preferrable with knowledge in PYTHON and/or Database system.
