AVP/VP - Cybersecurity

A fully licensed financial services firm in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced AVP/VP - Cybersecurity to enhance and maintain the security posture of the firm’s digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and policies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of cybersecurity threats, and manage incident response plans.
• Design and implement robust security architectures and controls, and oversee security tools and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and standards, perform risk assessments, and collaborate with auditors.
• Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, and develop security training programs for employees.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Proven experience in incident response, threat management, and security operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
