Supply Chain Director - E Commerce

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing e-commerce company in Hong Kong as a Supply Chain Director. To cope with their business expansion, they are seeking a supply chain expert to oversee all supply chain operations in Hong Kong, including logistics, forecasting and planning, order management, operational procedures, data analyze, and reporting.

A typical day will include the following:-

Logistics, Distribution and Order Management:
• Manage the entire order process and coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products
• Collaborate with logistics partners to streamline delivery operations, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain performance
• Monitor and analyze transportation costs, implementing cost-saving initiatives

Forecasting & Planning:
• Drive the planning process by analyzing sales performance to forecast product demand accurately
• Develop and implement inventory strategies that balance customer demand with cost considerations to maintain optimal stock levels
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure a sufficient supply of products to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts

Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Utilize advanced analytical tools such as Power BI and Tableau to analyze logistics and inventory data effectively
• Collaborate with the IT team to support EDI integration, identify issues, and implement resolutions

To succeed in this role, you will have:-
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 15+ years' experience in supply chain management
• Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Familiarity with EDI standards and protocols.
• Experience in using supply chain management software and tools
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
