We are looking for a dynamic Business Developer who can help us connect innovative software solutions with business opportunities. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging with potential clients, understanding their needs, and working with stakeholders to offer impactful business solutions in Climate Financing, Carbon Trading, and data-driven optimization domains. You will play a key role in shaping our growth strategy and expanding our market presence, working closely with clients around the globe to drive success and foster long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Identify and engage potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders to drive business growth and expand market reach for the software startup.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their business needs and how the startup’s software solutions can address those needs.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, leveraging insights to refine business strategies.
Work closely with the product development team to align client requirements with software features, providing input for product enhancements or new solutions.
Create and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demos that clearly communicate the value proposition of the software solutions to potential clients.
Track and report on business development performance, providing regular updates to the leadership team regarding sales pipeline, deals in progress, and market feedback.
Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to build brand awareness and stay informed on market trends.
Assist in creating user guides, client onboarding documents, and training materials to ensure seamless client adoption and success with the software products.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field (Fresh graduates are also welcome).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Attention to detail, analytical and scrutinizing skills.
Experience and knowledge in an Agile environment is an added advantage.
Ability to work independently, teamwork and being self-driven as per the requirement.
