The Department
The Manager, Brand Management acts as the key coordinator with various divisions for implementation and enforcement of the Club’s brand strategy, guidelines and governance process. He/she works closely with multiple teams to build a consistent and effective brand implementation plan and is responsible for planning, overseeing and managing a centralised brand centre and all brand-related assets. As an integral part of the Brand Digital Marketing and Channels (BDMC) team, he/she is required interact with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, while managing several moving project parts simultaneously.
The Job
• Assists in the development of brand strategy project from to delivery, launch, internal communications and training
• Provides significant input on strategic development of a brand management system
• Responsible for meticulous timeline, budget, procurement and resources management for assigned projects
• Responsible for development of a comprehensive and up-to-date brand centre to guide communications of both the Club’s corporate and sub-brands in a unified and consistent manner
• Actively contributes to the development of brand management framework, policies, procedures and systems, target operating models and governance systems
• Manages project progress, optimises and improves processes and the overall approach where necessary to ensure deadlines, milestones and other KPIs are met
• Provides brand governance advice and guidance to teams and stakeholders across the Club on behalf of the Brand Management
• Conducts regular reviews, provides updates, reports and post-implementation results for BDMC management team’s review and use
• Demonstrates positive relationship building skills in initial engagements with multi-functional teams; communicates effectively across teams
• Coaches team members and supervises external consultancy or agency in planning, designing and implementation of the projects at different phases
• Supports other team members and Brand Management team’s operations as and when needed
About You
• Undergraduate / Postgraduate qualification in preferably in Branding, Marketing or related discipline
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in brand management and brand projects; Experience in working for a transformational project in a matrix team setting is preferred
• A strong team player with the ability to nurture collaborative working relationships at all levels in the organisation
• Forward-thinking, strategic and courageous mind-set
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Strong project management skills with meticulous attention to details
• Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
• Written and spoken fluency in English and Cantonese is essential
