Job Title: Data Privacy and Protection Manager

KPMG China is seeking a highly skilled Data Privacy and Protection Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Data Governance and Compliance practice, you will be responsible for leading the team to assess risks, identify gaps, and provide advice on data protection and privacy for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the team to assess risks and identify gaps in data protection and privacy practices
• Evaluate data privacy and data protection practices of clients
• Develop and manage relationships with data protection and privacy stakeholders
• Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments
• Deploy processes to manage privacy matters and stay compliant with regulations
• Collaborate with data governance engagements across the full set of capabilities at KPMG
• Identify and communicate engagement findings to management and client personnel
• Work on multiple client engagements of varying size, scope, and complexity
Requirements:
• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Law, or related field
• Technology-related qualification holder on Privacy and Data Protection certifications
• Minimum 5 years' experience in data privacy and protection, ideally in a professional services environment
• Profound knowledge of data protection regulations, including Hong Kong's PDPO, European's GDPR, and China's Personal Data Protection Law
• Understanding of data privacy, confidentiality, and data protection from a process and risk perspective
• Experience in performing privacy impact assessments, privacy compliance assessments, and designing data privacy policies and guidelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
