We are seeking a motivated and skilled Security Operation Center (SOC) Engineer to join our client which is a leading Virtual Assets Company. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in network security and will play a critical role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats and incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts using SOC tools to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Analyze security incidents to assess their impact and develop appropriate response strategies.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement security measures and enhance the company’s cybersecurity posture.
- Maintain and update security documentation, including incident response plans and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and emerging threats to proactively protect company assets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in network security or a related role.
- Familiarity with SOC tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
