Job Summary:

We are seeking a Security Specialist to strengthen our cybersecurity team. This role involves safeguarding our company's information systems against cyber threats, overseeing the implementation of security protocols, and leading incident response efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
• Threat Analysis: Identify, analyze, and mitigate threats to internal IT systems and data.
• Security Assessments: Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with the latest standards and best practices.
• Incident Response: Lead the response to cybersecurity incidents, including forensic analysis and mitigation strategies.
• Policy Development: Develop and update company-wide cybersecurity policies and procedures to address current and emerging security risks.
• Team Leadership: Guide and mentor junior cybersecurity staff and manage cross-functional teams during security projects.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with other IT departments and business units to integrate security practices into all facets of the organization.
• Training and Awareness: Develop training materials and conduct security awareness sessions to educate employees about security best practices and threats.

Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role with a track record of increasing responsibility.
• Expert knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security.
• Good experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
• Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
• Ability to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities and explain these processes to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar will be highly advantageous.
