About the Role
A creative and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and optimize the physical components of our Real Virtuality Racing (RVR) systems. You’ll work on cutting-edge motion platforms, modular tracks, and ergonomic cockpits, ensuring seamless integration between hardware and virtual environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and prototype motion platforms, steering systems, and pedal assemblies for RVR simulators.
Collaborate with software engineers to ensure hardware compatibility with VR systems (e.g., DPVR headsets, Logitech wheels).
Conduct stress tests and durability analyses on mechanical components.
Optimize ergonomics for user comfort and safety.
Source materials and manage relationships with suppliers.
Stay updated on emerging technologies (e.g., haptic feedback, 6DOF motion systems).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Experience with rapid prototyping (3D printing, CNC machining).
Strong understanding of kinematics, dynamics, and material science.
Passion for gaming, VR, or motorsports is a plus.
