Data Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to assist the business in constructing a scalable data platform at Prudential plc.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, execute, and optimize data pipelines on the Unified Data Platform.
• Create and manage reporting dashboards.
• Assist in the transition from a legacy Data Warehouse Platform to the Unified Data Platform.
• Handle and administer data inquiries from business users.
• Assist with daily business operations on both the legacy Data Warehouse Platform and Unified Data Platform.

Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science/Data Engineering, or other related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT, Data Management, and Data Engineering using SQL and Python.
• Practical experience with Azure cloud data services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Power BI.
• Experience with IBM DataStage, IBM Cognos, Qlik Sense, Data Robot is beneficial.
• Experience in a project involving data science or machine learning is advantageous.
• Fluency in both Cantonese and English.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration with a global team.
