We are seeking a dedicated individual to join us as a Group Medical / Employee Benefit, Business Development Manager (Broker-Channel). Primary Responsibilities & Objectives
• Develop and Execute Business Development Strategies to achieve sales targets:
• Set and achieve sales targets, manage the sales pipeline, and forecast future sales performance.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through broker channels for group medical and employee benefits.
• Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
• Build and Maintain Broker Relationships:
• Establish and cultivate strong relationships with brokers to drive business growth.
• Provide ongoing training and support to brokers to enhance their product knowledge and sales capabilities.
• Ensure brokers are well-informed about product offerings and updates.
• Deliver Outstanding Client Service:
• Ensure exceptional service delivery to brokers and clients, prioritising their needs and resolving issues promptly.
• Product:
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of group medical and employee benefit products.
• Gather and analyze feedback to continually improve our service offerings and broker experience.
• Collaborate with Internal Teams:
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align business strategies.
• Ensure seamless communication and workflow between departments.
Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the insurance or employee benefits industry, specifically dealing with brokers.
• IIQE paper 1, 2, 3, 4
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of group medical and employee benefits products and market dynamics.
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Traditional).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in sales or insurance.
• Experience with digital tools and platforms for sales and marketing.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the insurance industry.
