The Job
• Support the payment and monitoring function of Charities to monitor progress and vet payment claims of Trust-funded projects
• Liaise with grantee agencies for project progress monitoring and funding reimbursement matters
• Support the capture, reporting and analysis of donations data for operational decision-making and management review
• Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and manages initiatives to enhance operational efficiency across the payment and monitoring function, working with stakeholders
• Manage auditors and various service providers to support the payment vetting function
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the outsourced service
• Carry out other activities as necessary, including ah-hoc research, creating presentation and training materials and writing reports
About You
• A university degree or equivalent and major in accounting or financial related subject would be an advantage
• A minimum of five years' relevant experience in accounting, auditing or payment vetting. Experience in NGOs and/or social service sector would be an advantage
• Proficiency in computer skills in using Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Good working and learning attitude, be a good team player and have the ability to work independently and under pressure
• Passionate in helping people and the community development
• Less experience will be considered as Assistant Charities Manager
• Job Location: Shatin
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the selected candidate.
