Technical Project Manager - AVP - Cloud Platform Services - IT

Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive Technical Project Manager to lead and manage technical projects within our organization. This role requires a solid understanding of project management principles and basic knowledge of cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. Job Duties: Responsibilities: Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets. Team Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure project alignment and clear communication of goals. Cloud Knowledge: Utilize basic understanding of cloud technologies to facilitate discussions and decision-making regarding cloud-based solutions. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery. Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders; provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and milestones. Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements through regular reviews and testing. Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including requirements, meeting notes, and project plans. Agile Methodologies: Implement agile methodologies to enhance project delivery and team collaboration. Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in project management in a technical environment. Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project). Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master). Experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
