Data Protection Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Specialist to join our team at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited. As a key member of our Governance and Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of personal data and adherence to applicable data-related rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:
• Support the development and implementation of privacy compliance mechanisms for HKEX at a group level.
• Assist in the review of internal privacy and data protection policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Maintain a mapping of data flows and Record of Processing Activities.
• Drive consistency of processes across workstreams that impact privacy and data protection risk.

Requirements:
• Strong interest in Data Privacy issues and regulatory landscape.
• University degree in laws, business, governance, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 8-10 years working experience with 5 years of direct interactions with senior stakeholders.
