The Department
Purpose
As a long-term development strategy for the Club, Mainland strategic development has taken on increased importance, with the objective to extend our Integrated Business Model with adaptations into the Mainland, to ensure sustainability of World Class Racing AND our contributions to Betterment of Society.
Job Scope
The Deputy Executive Manager, Mainland Strategic Development (DEM, MSD) will report to Head of Mainland Strategic Development with a primary focus on Mainland Strategic Development.
As a senior member in CSBPO, he/she would be prepared to support additional projects or assignments based on supervisor guidance and approval, acting as a role model to demonstrate agility, collaboration, accountability, result-orientation as part of the Club’s “One Club, One Team” culture.
The Job
• Implement disciplined program management for prioritized Mainland strategic initiatives across divisions and orchestrate the holistic China strategy
• Provide strategic inputs and agenda for each monthly meeting, based on the set of Mainland Development Strategic Initiatives endorsed by Committee strategic inputs and oversight to CEO/BOM member discussion and review.
• To drive the development of Mainland Strategic Partnership Strategy with key corporates and major institutions in China.
• DCSBP to provide project management oversight and analytical support on an as need basis
• To prepare key internal papers and / or PowerPoint for meetings with senior management.
About You
• Degree in Related Discipline from a global leading school (Master degree preferred but not a must)
• 13-15 years working experiences , with managerial experience in China business and strategic development
• Deep Mainland market understanding required; experience living and working in Mainland China is a plus
• Strategic partnership/ business development/ corporate client management experience strong preferred
• Flexibility to be based in Hong Kong or Mainland China as needed, with regular China business travel required
• Strategy planning, corporate transformation PMO leadership
• People & team management – Experience in leading and collaborating with a cross-border team at multiple locations
• Strong communication, and external/internal stakeholders management; ability to collaborate with numerous stakeholders up to C-level executives
• Fluency in written and spoken English / Mandarin / Cantonese are required; highly polished/eloquent writing/speaking skills in Chinese is required
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word required
