Job Title: Backend Flutter Developer

We are seeking a skilled **Backend Flutter Developer** to continue the development of an in-progress mobile app designed for school environments.
The key features are that:
- The app uses Geofencing to award signees points for arriving at destinations on time.
- It also uses Geotargeting to award points for visiting local-partnered businesses.
- Via Audio ducking it will automatically reduce the volume of any music player when students approach crossings.
- It will have challenges they can achieve daily.

The project is already well underway, with the APK at a mid-development stage. The successful candidate will build on the existing codebase, adding new features, optimizing functionality, and ensuring smooth integration of backend services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys stepping into a live project and pushing it to the next level.
• *Key Responsibilities:**

- Continue the development of an existing backend system, refining the point-awarding mechanism for students upon school arrival.
- Implement and improve geolocation-based services to manage triggers like reducing media player volume when students approach zebra crossings.
- Further develop and optimize APIs for handling user data, point tracking, and reward systems.
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and security in backend services.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize the current codebase to enhance application performance.
- Write clean, well-structured, and documented code for future development.
• *Skills and Qualifications:**

- **Experience with Flutter:** At least 2-3 years of experience developing mobile applications using Flutter, particularly working on existing projects.
- **Dart Language Proficiency:** Strong knowledge of the Dart language for Flutter app development.
- **Backend Development Experience:** 2-3 years of experience in backend development (preferably)
