Key Responsibilities:
Design and build advanced, scalable applications for web and mobile applications;
Integrate with backend services (JSON, REST, SQL Database etc.) to deliver a great user experience;
Collect and analyze business requirements and change requests;
Provide support on UAT (User-Acceptance Testing) and perform program unit testing;
Provide ongoing user training and application support.
Qualifications/Skills:
Undergraduate/post-graduate in computer science, information technology, or related STEM field from Hong Kong universities (final-year students are welcomed as long as you remain a student during your internship);
Experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Angular, React, Bootstrap, etc.;
Experience in Web Application or Mobile Development;
Good knowledge of web development frameworks including React and Angular will be an advantage;
Good sense of UI/UX (User Interface / User experience) design;
An understanding of at least one back-end language (e.g., Java, JS/Node, Python)
Willing to learn, self-initiative, good sense of responsibility and interpersonal skills;
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
Other requirements:
Aged between 18 and 30 (i.e. having reached the age of 18 and before reaching the age of 31) at the time when submitting the application for the internship placement;
Must be Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card holders who are students currently enrolled in FULL-TIME post-secondary programmes (including sub-degree, undergraduate or postgraduate programmes) ; or Hong Kong Identity Card holders who are students currently enrolled in FULL-TIME post-secondary programmes in Hong Kong (including sub-degree, undergraduate or postgraduate programmes)
