Job Title: Project Manager (New Building Project)
Location: Shatin, Hong Kong
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a new building project in the Shatin area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project to ensure successful completion within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate overall project management activities, including budget management, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
• Track site progress and performance metrics to ensure that project milestones and objectives are achieved.
• Supervise and mentor project team members, fostering collaboration among all stakeholders to ensure that work aligns with contractual obligations and design specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and adherence to safety regulations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree or higher in Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Membership in professional organizations such as HKIE, CIOB, or HKICM is a plus.
• At least 8 years of post-qualification experience in project management within the building construction sector, ideally with main contractors.
• Proven leadership abilities with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must be a HKID holder and speak the local language
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the role of Assistant Project Manager.
