About Our Client
Our client is a leading provider of global supply chain logistics across distribution, fulfilment, freight forwarding, customer brokerage, global trade, and supply chain software solution. To cope with the business expansion, they are now hiring a Business Development Manager who will report to the Regional Department Head, and responsible for new business development and specialize in focus in selling their ocean freight services and order management software solutions to new customers. Candidates with 7+ years of sales experience from sizeable 3PL companies, alongside an independence and agile mindset will help excel in this role.
Responsibilities
• Identify potential customer and generation leads
• Build and maintain long-term relationship with customers and dig out business opportunities for profitability
• Liaise with internal functional teams, including key account management, operations, solutions, IT and finance teams to work on business proposal and project execution
• Update timely and accurate reports of targeted accounts, potential sales revenue, and sales calls
• Follow up customer on-boarding protocols
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or above holder in any field
• Minimum 7 years of sales experience in supply chain logistics industry, with experience in selling any supply chain solution would be an advantage
• Good knowledge in both international and domestic logistics
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
