Job Description
- Formulate export sales forecasts, budgets, and expenses in a timely manner. Monitor inventory levels and export sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to navigate a dynamic business environment and meet sales targets within budget.
- Regularly liaise with overseas distributors, agencies, and shipping companies to ensure that shipment orders are processed promptly according to customer requirements.
- Negotiate trade terms with agencies and sales plans with overseas and local partners to optimize the company’s sales and profitability.
- Address special requests, inquiries, and complaints related to export sales from overseas and local agencies to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Conduct overseas business trips to assess market conditions and explore new territories and customers, generating new business opportunities to enhance the company’s profitability and market share.
- Prepare regular analytical reports based on monthly export sales data and performance for management review.
Job Specification
- Tertiary education in a related field.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the food industry.
- Hands-on experience in export trade is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of handling full sets of import/export documents, international trade practices, e-trade operations, and international food regulations and labeling.
- Fluency in spoken and written Chinese and English, including Mandarin.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Proactive, analytical, flexible, and results-oriented with a strong commitment to achieving objectives.
- Occasional business travel is required when necessary.
