We are seeking talented and motivated Business Development Interns to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work on strategic projects aimed at driving business growth and expanding our market presence in areas such as Climate Financing, Carbon Trading, and data-driven optimization. You will be involved in identifying business opportunities, assisting with client outreach, and supporting the development of proposals and marketing strategies. This opportunity will allow you to gain hands-on experience in business development while collaborating closely with a diverse, global team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying and engaging potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to support business growth and expand the market reach of the software startup.
Help develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, gaining insights into their business needs and how the startup’s software solutions can address those needs.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, assisting the team in refining business strategies.
Collaborate with the product development team to understand client requirements and help align them with software features, offering suggestions for potential product enhancements.
Support the creation and delivery of presentations, proposals, and demos to clearly communicate the value proposition of the software solutions to prospective clients.
Track and report on business development progress, providing updates on potential leads, opportunities, and client feedback to the leadership team.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking activities to gain exposure, build brand awareness, and stay informed on market trends.
Help create user guides, client onboarding materials, and training documentation to support the smooth adoption and success of the software products by clients.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Attention to detail, analytical and scrutinizing skills.
Experience and knowledge in an Agile environment is an added advantage.
A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to learn quickly and collaborate effectively within a team.
