TPT Digital is seeking a dynamic Business Development Specialist to join our expanding team in Hong Kong! Established in 2019 as an independent division of the renowned language translation company TransPerfect, TPT Digital is a rapidly growing full-stack digital agency focused on delivering excellence in support of our clients’ global digital marketing strategies.
Backed by the resources of our parent company, which serves over 80% of the Interbrand Top 100 global brands, TPT Digital is dedicated to delivering exceptional support for our clients' worldwide digital marketing initiatives. Our specialty lies in executing large-scale, multi-faceted global campaigns with unparalleled precision.
Position Responsibilities:
• Develop an effective understanding of the capabilities and competitive advantages of TPT Digital
• Develop prospective clients through several strategies including internet research, trade show lists, referrals, various professional directories and personal investigation
• Foster and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means (tradeshows, regional organizations, etc.)
• Creatively problem solve to improve current new business development strategy
• Negotiate rates and deadlines with prospective and current clients
• Partner with TransPerfect senior business development executives looking to introduce their clients to TPT Digital capabilities and expertise
• Liaise with production to ensure that all jobs are handled appropriately and with keen attention to detail, resulting in a perfect product
• Consistently follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality and customer service
• Perform other special projects or duties when required
Required Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal English, Mandarin & Cantonese communication skills
• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Minimum one year of sales experience in digital marketing services
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Effective time management
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
• Self-starter comfortable with a high degree of accountability
