Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the efficient and cost-effective operations of the company's real estate assets and facilities
• Collaborate with property management teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high tenant satisfaction
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize facility management processes
• Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with universities, international schools, and other potential clients
• Lead the bidding and proposal process to secure new contracts and expand the company's client base
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify untapped revenue streams
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction
• Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with current clients and vendors
• Work closely with the client service team to enhance the overall client experience
• Develop and implement strategic growth plans to drive the company's revenue and market share
• Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, joint venture opportunities, or strategic partnerships
• Lead the due diligence process and negotiate the terms of new business deals
• Provide direction, coaching, and mentorship to the business development team
• Establish performance goals, monitor progress, and ensure the team's alignment with the company's objectives
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration within the team
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field; Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred
• Experience:
• Business Development Manager: 5-10 years of relevant experience in business development, client relationship management, and strategic planning within the real estate investment industry
• Senior Management: 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role, with a proven track record of driving business growth and profitability
• Worked within a team that has generated at least $12 million USD in annual revenue
• Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in financial analysis and strategic planning; excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities; familiarity with facility management and vendor management practices
