Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Infrastructure Manager to shape the Cloud Engineering strategy and oversee the cloud transformation initiative.
Lead a technical team in the design and execution of enterprise infrastructure and platform projects within hybrid environments (combining cloud and on-premises solutions), ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Identify opportunities to optimize cloud costs and implement cost-control measures effectively.
Manage enterprise platforms, which encompass cloud computing resources, servers, databases, SAN storage, data protection, disaster recovery, data center facilities, and more.
Develop and maintain end-to-end monitoring of enterprise platforms and automate IT operational processes.
Provide technical guidance and training to the IT SysOps team as a second-level support.
Collaborate closely with the Cybersecurity team to enforce cybersecurity controls and standards, including vulnerability management and software update management.
Engage with vendors and service providers to evaluate new technologies and products, plan service delivery, and provide technical support.
Implement best practices in project execution, covering project management, risk management, issue management, resource management, change management, quality control, and budget control.
Requirements:
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree in a related field is desirable.
Possess 10 years of experience in delivering large-scale infrastructure and cloud computing projects, with a preference for experience in cloud transformation, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Maintain professional certifications in cloud, infrastructure, platform, architecture, networking, cybersecurity, and project management, among others.
Demonstrate extensive hands-on experience with various enterprise infrastructure platforms, covering cloud computing resources, servers, databases, middleware, storage, data protection, disaster recovery, and more.
Preferred experience in cybersecurity projects and implementations, encompassing Firewall, Proxy, Load Balancer, VPN, Remote Access, Multi-factor authentication, Data Loss Protection, Network Access Control, and similar areas.
Possess strong communication and presentation skills, as well as influential and leadership qualities.
Proficient in facilitation, vendor management, project management, change management, and relationship management.
