UI/UX Designer Developer - Hong Kong
What we're looking for a user experience designer with strong interests and capabilities in the design and development of engaging user experiences. You will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. You excel at providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. You will also have extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies is a must.
If you find yourself in that middle ground between the design and the technology and you enjoy merging the two together, then this role is for you.
Role:
• Executing interaction design and visual design as a part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Collaborating on user experience planning with a lead experience architect
• Identifying exciting opportunities for adopting new technology to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges
• Serving as a core member of an agile team that drives user story analysis and elaboration, designs and develops software applications, and builds automation tools for testing.
Working with technical product managers contributing to blueprints, and assisting with annual planning of feature sets
• Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Design or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• 0-5 years working experience(candidates with more experience will be considered)
• Strong interaction/design sense
• Good English
Additional Knowledge:
• Experience in Single Page Application framework (Vue.js)
• Experience in Material Design framework
• Understanding of Functional Reactive Programming (Any Reactive Extension library eg. RxJS, RxNet, ReactiveUI, knockout.js)
• Client side visualizations library (D3.js)
• Build and dependency management library (Webpack, Node.js, npm, bower)
• Server side generated template (C#, Razor Template)
Ideally, you also:
• Have work that can be found on GitHub
• Have Stack Overflow profile
• Have your own apps in the App Store
