Data Engineer (New Media Business)

Responsibilities:
Implement data platform architectures, including big data, NoSQL, AI technologies and applications for providing data services to other systems and business users

Gather business and data requirements

Responsible for data ingestion and converting requirements into data strategies and models

Work closely with business / Technology teams to understand their needs and develop data-driven solutions

Develop reports, dashboards and other artifacts to communicate the analysis results to business users

Define business requirements and design appropriate solutions

Develop data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and analytics

Conduct ETL development

Support data visualization tools such as Data Studio and Tableau

Defining data governance model to ensure data quality

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Big Data or any related disciplines

Minimum of 2 years in data warehouse projects and development

Proficient in ETL development or Big Data Technologies, or Data Transformation, and modeling

Experience in architecting and building scalable data platforms/ data governance/ Enterprise grade BI and reporting tools/ Cloud Technologies (Data Lake, Google, AWS etc.) or open-source technologies

Proficient in using at least 2 programming languages of Java, Scala, R, and Python

Knowledge in database technologies preferably in Big Query, SQL and/or NOSQL

Self-motivated, able to work under dynamic working environment and flexible to changes

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Data Engineering Trainee
