Junior System Engineer/ System Engineer

At Data Digitalisation Limited, our R&D team is making manufacturing transparent through our IIoT solution PTApp. The app is specifically developed to enable remote visualising of the factory floor and digitalising factory management. Using cloud computing, PTApp can generate real-time operational reports based on big data, which greatly assist manufacturers to remotely improve efficiency across their production lines and make agile adjustments with access to KPIs. Working with end-users, our team can customise unique production reports for our clients, from OEE reports to reports on productivity, fault alarms and energy consumption.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineers to join our development team. The ideal candidates will have expertise in PHP/Python web application development, with a strong focus on back-end development. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing PHP-based and Python's applications, as well as integrating with third-party APIs and services. The candidate must have a strong understanding of software development best practices, and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Python back-end applications using FastAPI frameworks.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Investigate the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for industrial firms (Included Module Development, Performance Analysis, Process Automation, Collaboration and Integration)

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in PHP/Python application development
• Strong proficiency in PHP/Python languages.
• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony / Python FastAPI framework
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with Python, machine learning algorithms and frameworks such as TensorFlow or Scikit-learn is advantages
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as System Engineer

Preferred qualifications:
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and development
• Fresh graduate will be considered
