Description
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join the commercial team on our flagship product Lexology. The role will comprise managing renewal accounts (made up of law firms and consultancies) as well as driving new business activity across a specific geographic territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong client relationships, understanding client needs and requirements, and offering first class service and support on existing and new acquisitions.
This is a key position within our business and the right person will be able to excel and develop their career in a fast-growing office. A combined background in both account management and outbound new-business sales process is required long with commercial ambition and strong interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
What you would be doing:
· Develop strong relationships with existing clients monitoring their current product usage to provide opportunities for upselling
· Initiate, scope and manage renewals to increase sales yield levels and revenue
· Work with Client Services team to carry out the activities through the client life-cycle to increase renewal rates by volume and value
· Development and implementation of client sales plans for products and territories to meet your sales targets
· Support our product development function by suggesting new ideas and garnering client feedback where appropriate and in the launch process of new products
· Generation of new business Lexology Intelligence sales across the region.
· Generation of business is conducted via both desk-based work and international sales trips. The role also required attendance at regional tradeshows and conducting face to face client meetings at international events.
· Generate new leads and contacts using both internal and external research resources
· Update the CRM to ensure the CRM accurately reflects your sales activity through the buying stage to move Leads and Opportunities to Closed Won or Closed Lost status
· Ensuring your clients have signed contract and orders are processed in accordance with GDPR regulations
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
What we are looking for:
Educated to degree level or equivalent
3+ years minimum of sales/account management experience, ideally in the B2B space
Proven track record of sales performance and client management
Experience leading in the delivery of sales to senior stakeholders desirable
