AWS Cloud Migration Architect

Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and execution of cloud migration strategies for digital applications, leveraging AWS services effectively
• Develop migration strategies for existing frontend applications and digital portals to AWS Cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to re-architect existing applications for cloud environments, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Conduct code reviews and provide recommendations for enhancements to support cloud migration
• Ensure best practices for cloud security, performance optimization, and cost management are implemented
• Provide consultation and troubleshoot during the migration process to ensure optimal performance and stability
• Stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions and recommendation
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure effective communication throughout the migration process

Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong focus on AWS cloud migration and architecture
• Proven experience in leading cloud migration projects and re-architecting applications for cloud migration on large-scale programs, particularly in frontend application migration
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing
• Strong expertise in frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect is preferred
• Proven experience with digital portfolios
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
• Background in the insurance industry is an added advantage
