Main Duties & Responsibilities for this 12-month contract role
• Coordinating and arranging trainings (system, process, policy) for Front Office staff and business support functions, including monitoring attendance to ensure all required staff complete their mandatory training obligations within the stipulated time frame including monthly reporting to PBCOO and HR.
• Responsible for coordinating and tracking of completion in onboarding & introductory trainings for new hires in the Front Office and the subsequent granting of system access rights.
• Liaise with Department Heads and organize monthly CRO / CSO meetings to update Front Office staff on changes in polices/procedure, regulation, system.
• Work closely with Market Group Heads and liaise with Front Office staff to facilitate the ordering of Due Diligence reports as part of Client Onboarding / Periodic Reviews, support the monthly reporting of CRO/CSO cost allocation and issuance of Bank Confirmation Letters
• Provide support to Front office staff and attends to non-KYC queries received into the PBS group mailbox in a timely manner.
• Involved in the monitoring of training records for all Front Office staff to ensure fulfillment of their Continuous Professional Training (CPT) requirements annually.
• Perform ex-ante checks on deposit placements / rollovers done by Front Office staff timely before daily cut-off to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
• Participate in and contribute to special projects/initiatives, assigned by Management.
• Other ad-hoc office administrative tasks
Requirements and Preferred Skills
• Keen interest in the financial industry and wealth management business
• Service-oriented and keen to learn with ability to think out-of-the-box.
• Meticulous and a strong team player with ability to work independently.
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Familiar with MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and proficient in MS Excel
