The primary purpose of this role is to partner with Legal Department leadership as a subject matter expert regarding contract and matter management, legal tech adoption, project management, budgeting and performance reporting. This is accomplished by creating metrics and KPIs aligned to the General Counsel’s key objectives and strategic plan, as well as overall department effectiveness and efficiency.
Candidate must have a strong background in project/change management, process and system mapping and optimization. Prior legal knowledge is not required.
What you will do:

• Unique opportunity to develop and implement systems (including contract management systems and AI tools) that help streamline and optimise legal service delivery
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to define project scope and refine processes, and integration with company systems
• Prepares monthly and quarterly reports for the Legal Department leadership
• Extracts, analyses and interprets data from various systems to support decision making
• Assists with expense tracking and budgeting of the department
• Reviews department processes for efficiency and consistency with department goals, determines where changes are needed and leads implementation of changes
What you will need:
• At least 5 years of experience in project/change management roles with proven track record in system and process implementation or improvement initiatives
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and process mapping tools
• Logical, analytical-minded, fast learner and collaborative work style
• Ability to multi-task and manage a substantial workload in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
• Flexible and hard-working, with a can-do attitude, practical and solution driven to work as part of a team and serve as a project leader
• Chinese language skills not required, but would be an advantage
• Less experienced candidates will be considered for the position of Legal Operations Manager
