At KPMG's Consulting practice, we do not limit ourselves to either strategy or implementation. We deliver both. Since our inception, we have acquired in-depth knowledge of an incredibly broad range of sectors and services.
Responsibilities
Our System Analyst is responsible for:
• Analysing clients' existing systems and business models.
• Mapping and documenting interfaces for legacy and new systems.
• Conducting client requirements analysis and translating it to support proposals for modifying or replacing systems.
• Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability.
• Working closely with architects, developers, testers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
• Supporting users on change control and system updates.
• Providing systems training.
• Helping to write user manuals for users of a new system.
Experience
Key skills and or traits include:
• Working knowledge of programming and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, able to communicate and manage stakeholders across all levels
• Experience in working with global cross functional teams is desirable
• Manageability, takes direction and provides proactive and constructive support
• Proven ability in relationship building and influencing skills in a business and IT environment
Requirements
• Strong communication skills: English speaking and writing skills is mandatory. Preference in Cantonese and/or Putonghua is desirable
• Regular daily use of English is standard with presenting, cooperating with stakeholders, attending team/corporate meetings
• Collaborative working style, but a self-starter
• Experience of working with information management systems
Qualifications and experience
• Bachelors or Master's Degree
• Qualifications would be preferential in:
• ITIL or other internationally recognised qualification
• 5+ years of experience in Financial Services, IT or Consulting industry
