Our Intact Lab in Hong Kong is looking for an aspiring Software Developer to work with our AI products In this role, we’ll give you the tools, support and flexibility to be your best self and do your best work.

As a tech pioneer in a new AI lab, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Build high performing and scalable data analytics pipeline for real-life customer and business issues

Write well-designed, efficient code that can be tested, and tested, and tested

Influence the AI roadmap for the largest home, auto business insurer in Canada

Explore and master new technologies to use them in your own solutions

Grow alongside a diverse team of world-class experts in data science, software engineering, actuarial science, business and design

Here’s what you bring to the table:

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, AI or a related discipline

Proficiency with Python or other language such as Java, C++, C#, etc.

Familiar with our tech stack or similar technologies: AWS, Kafka, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Terraform, React JS

Ability to solve vaguely defined issues requiring a creative approach

Strong communication, time management and work organization skills

Unlimited curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo

Ability to work with others on software engineering practices such as Git, CICD, computing efficiency optimization, etc.

Experience in software development, ML engineering, or AI products is an asset

If you don’t have experience in AI, a strong desire to immerse yourself in this exciting field
