Android Developer - Kotlin

Kody, a fast-growing Fintech specialising in bringing online payments and better financial services to brick and mortar businesses, is seeking an Android Developer with expertise in Kotlin to join their mobile development team.

The location of this job is in Hong Kong. The role will be hybrid, but we will expect you top come to our office a few times a week.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on developing and maintaining Kody's Android mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features, enhance the performance and reliability of the applications, and ensure that they meet high-quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Android development using Kotlin, a strong understanding of the Android ecosystem, and a passion for building user-friendly and secure applications. You should have a track record of delivering high-quality code and be skilled in problem-solving and debugging.

Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain Android mobile applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and functionality of the applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in the applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in the Android ecosystem.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of the applications.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
• Experience in Android development using Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of the Android ecosystem and familiarity with Android libraries, frameworks, and patterns.
• Knowledge of software design principles and best practices.
